I tried to do something similar in a Geo Metro, which later started on fire.
4 of us were driving down a dirt track at night and didn't see the track drop away suddenly. There was a floating sensation, a teeth-jolting thump as all 4 shocks bottomed out, then another one as all of cracked our heads off the ceiling.

I did this on my motorcycle with my roommate on the back.
My friend did this only the tracks where in the middle of a steep hill. She ended up jumping, landing across the line and hitting another car head on at 90 km/h. The passenger of the other car is confined to a wheel chair for the rest of his life and has to be spoon fed. My friend and all the other people in her car were fine.
My friend has a old car to race i wanted to make a huge jump to fly that car but they all said i was crazy.
